Most of the spam that I've seen lately has been of the inline GIF spam format. Happily, at least at home, an installation of POPFile has caught them all.
Unhappily at work, we're cursed with Lotus Notes (possibly the worst email system known to man), which has next to no spam filtering capability. The email admins have tried to use Spam Assassin to filter the email, but I find the false-positive rate unacceptably high.
