Speaking as a parent, I think that parents are all guilty at times of trying to snow the kids into doing something they probably don't want to by describing it as "fun." I try to be as honest as possible about things with them, but mine have managed on several occasions to find me out and call me on it when I'm trying to couch things as fun when they're not.
