But wait! There's more!

Just when I thought that the guy who

1: threatened to sue me when I cancelled his eBay listings which featured pictures ripped off from my review of the ETime Home Endoscope
2: declared that it didn't matter, because the endoscopes "break down all the time" so he didn't care about not being able to sell them
3: cussed me out in comments on that post, registering two abusively-named commenter accounts to do so
4: created a whole BLOG dedicated to abusing me, the regrettably-no-longer-existent dansdataisanarrogantwanker.blogspot.com
5: took pictures of himself sticking the ETime product up his bare bottom (NSFW picture archived here!), text in which declared "This is Dan testing out the new pencam! I love it up my ass!"
6: then gave up and actually took his own damn pictures of the product in question like he should have in the first place, for some reason now not featuring his bare bottom, and resumed selling ETime products on eBay as if nothing had happened

had ceased to provide me with amusement, this turned up:

Subject: advertising

Dan,
I hope to put the past behind and ask how much it would cost to advertise our ehe pencams listings on your pencam review page?
( link to our ebay store )
http://stores.ebay.com/endoscopes-endoscopy-borescopes

I can pay by paypal.com

Please advise

Sincerely,
Wayne

Well, gee, I don't know.

What do you think, faithful readers? Does Wayne strike you as the kind of solid, ethical businessman I should be advertising?

I mean, you'd all be fine with buying stuff from him, right?

I think you should ask him to pay in advance.

  2. keith Says:

I notice he didn't actually go all the way and stick it up his bottom - he just pretented to. Maybe if he furnished photos of him doing it properly... And get payment in advance

  3. Frosted Donut Says:

Just think of all the mischief he could get into with that money. You owe it to the rest of the world to move it from his pocket to yours. Seriously. If he's dumb enough to advertise here, so you have an obligation to society to make him poorer.

  4. Redsnertz Says:

I say take his money and give him a bonus. Post his advert on the review page, and link to your blog entries for 'Enhanced information' (assuming they're not already linked, a dangerous assumption given your known propensity for linkmania.)

  5. terrahwk Says:

If he puts the past behind him the same way he put the pencam behind him (complete with photo!) I'd be worried.

Subject: my e-mail address on your blogs

I will now be forced to seek legal actions since you put my e-mail address
    on your blog.

I have been receiveing a lot of threatening e-mails

Please remove it now or face court actions

I had nothing to do with an ex employees actions.

    Sincerely,

    Wayne

I'm in trouble now! He's seeking legal actions! That's more than one legal action, people!

I may need several sock puppets to fight this one in the solemn and justly-feared Internet Court. Whatever shall I do?!

[UPDATE: I'm now willing to give Wayne the benefit of the doubt, and presume that the guy who did the camera-up-the-bum party trick was not actually the same person as Wayne, but some dork he hired instead. It would have been nice if Wayne had actually explained this in the first place rather than fly off the handle and start threatening legal action in the same e-mail in which he introduced the concept of his "ex-employee", thereby strengthening the connection between the two of them in my mind, but no matter. I've taken his e-mail address off the page. I've no idea why anyone would have "threatened" him about this, but it's not as if it's some major matter of principle.]
